We have a hall of famer!

File this one under “things that surprise absolutely nobody.” Earlier this year, our very own Trisha Byler was officially inducted into the Greater Rochester Running Club’s Hall of Fame. Nominated by Coach Reif of GVH, Trisha was officially recognized for her continued achievements in the sport of distance running and her commitment to fostering women’s teams in the Rochester area.

Of course, much was said about Trisha’s numerous JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge victories, both in Rochester and in the international competition. Perhaps even more impressive, however, is her team spirit and passion for lifting others. She was a driving force on the Brockport Distance Project, and currently works tirelessly to make Roadkill Racing the best team in the area. Her willingness to always step up and race if the team needs her is always appreciated, even if it means she needs to lace up her cross country spikes.

All of us here at Roadkill Racing offer our heartfelt congratulations to our very own local legend, Trisha Byler!
