Rochester Runner of the Year
The past 2 years I have won my age group in the Rochester Runner of the Year Series. I was not the faster person in my age group, nor was I even the person in my AG with the most points. I was lucky enough to have the person in my AG score in the top 3 overall for the series thus moving me up one slot to first place. This year I’m actually on track to win my AG straight up with a perfect score of 60 points, but I’m also on track to finish 3rd overall so I won’t actually win my AG. Congrats to Dan Ward for taking over the 35-39 AG auto bump up lead! This will mark the 3rd year in a row that a 35-39 year old has finished top 3 overall in the series.
