You call that a mountain??
The second race in the USATF Niagara Grand Prix series was the Mountain Goat 10-miler in Syracuse. Conditions could best be described as “soggy,” with cool temperatures and a steady drizzle. Nothing could dampen our spirits, though, and Roadkill Racing once again put forth a strong effort to stay in the hunt in the series.
Open Men: 2nd place
Open Women: 1st place
Masters Men: 3rd place
Masters Women: 2nd place
With two races down in the series, the Open Women are comfortably in the lead with 28 points. The Open Men are a solid second place with 18 points, Masters Men are tied for second with 14 points, and Masters Women are in second with 14 points as well.
Our next race is everybody’s favorite: 7 and a half laps around the track at Roberts Wesleyan College on June 28th. Hey, at least it’s not a 10,000m!
