You want us to run how many laps??

The latest USATF team race occurred Saturday, June 28th at the Roberts Wesleyan track. As part of the USATF Open and Masters Track Championships, the 3,000m was chosen to be a Grand Prix race. Those of you who have raced on the track know that 3,000m, while not as mind-bogglingly tedious as a 5,000 or 10,000, is still quite a few laps (7.5 to be exact), especially for those of us who typically stick to road races. The sultry sun, shining obliviously down on the black Tartan of the track, did not exactly make for great racing conditions. But we are Roadkill Racing, and we tremble at nothing! Here’s how the teams fared:

Open Men: 2nd
Open Women: 2nd
Masters Men: 3rd
Masters Women: 2nd
