Here Comes Cross-Country!

My favorite racing season is fast approaching.  It is a time when you can forget about splits and PR’s meticulously measured courses and just go try to beat the guys lining up next to you.  The ragweed is in full bloom, so it can mean only 1 thing, it is almost time for cross-country.  Roadkill Racing is entering the 2012 Pete Glavin Upstate New York Cross Country Series (PGUNYXCS, serious that is what it is called) as the defending open champions.  We are only the second team in 10 years to wrest that title from GVH (although they seem to have neglected to update their website to reflect that https://www.gvh.net/?page_id=122).

We are sure to have our hands full trying hold on to our title.  We have lost 4 of our top racers Mike Insler, Rob Castor, Dan Lane and Chanse Hungerford, but have replaced them with Kenny Goodfellow and Brett Smith.   We are looking to add a bit more depth to the team, but as things stand now we should have a chance of winning at least some beer and glory over the next few months.
